Dell Alienware M17x R3 Gaming Notebook

Motorola Xoom, the first “real” Android tablet that could take on the iPad, was launched today at CES in Las Vegas. Well you can forget Samsung Galaxy Tab now because Motorola Xoom is the first Android tablet that is sanctioned by Google. It seems that Google is really dead serious about dethroning Apple’s iPad and by how Xoom looks, it seems that Apple is in for a very worthy rival. Motorola Xoom has a 10-inch wide screen display and at 12.9mm is thinner than the iPad. Xoom has two cameras, one in front for videoconferencing, one in back for shooting. The battery life of this device could really compete with iPad’s, it can go to 10 hours for video. Xoom uses the entire 1280×800 display (which is 16:10) when playing a video. And it seems that Motorola thinks of the Xoom as a a gadget that is mainly for entertainment, for watching videos because the docking port is on the bottom so that it sits on landscape view when docked, this is really different from the iPad which docks on the portrait view. Here are the specs of Motorola Xoom:
