Text Shadow Effect

Final image

Step 1: Open a new document 450 x 200 px. Now type some text (I used Arial, 48 pt, color #0970c8).

Step 2: Now press CTRL + J to duplicate your layer. After that press CTRL + T to transform new layer, and click the right mouse button, to select “flip vertical”. Press enter, and move the layer down by dragging it or using the arrow keys.

Step 3: Right click on your top shadow layer, and press Rasterize Type. After that hit CTRL + T again and now select “Perspective”. Move the lower right box to the right like on the next picture:

You should now have something like this:

Step 4: Now simply go to the layers window and lower the opacity of the shadow layer to 30%. This is my final result:

Congratulations, you’re done!
